Gratitude Is A Magnet Indeed!

I got an email from a well-known preacher here in the Philippines having the same title as this post. In fact that's where I got the title for today's post...Here's the link to his post on Gratitude is a Magnet.

Well, I find it very timely for my favorite preacher to tackle this topic. And it becomes even more appropriate with my Year of Thanks blog. I guess I'm on the right track after all. We do have all the things we need right now that we have to be thankful for. The rest will come in God's time.

Today, I'm thankful for the help extended by my service staff. For without them, I won't be able to work from home my entire shift. Working from home is very distracting and takes a good amount of self discipline to actually sit in front of the computer and do something. Without my service staff, I'd have to care for my 3 year old, do household chores, and forego work all together -- which I cannot afford to do just yet. We are saving up for a house so I need to earn money as well.

If you have house help in your home, show them you appreciate them by saying thanks, respecting them, and treating them like you would treat yourself.
